Company Background

Apex Toys Co., Ltd., the biggest toy manufacturer in Thailand, was first established in 1985 on an area of 2 acres at
Bangkhoontian, Bangkok, equipped with five plastic injection molding machines, to manufacture a wide range of
plastic toys.

All the company shareholders are Thai, as is the managing director, Mr. Thanongchai Mongkolrattanachart, who has
20 years experience in plastic toy manufacturing. Over the past decade, the company has grown and expanded
continuosly and today, occupies an area of 12.4 acres. There are 5 major departments in the factory which are
design, molding, injection assembling, and quality control department with about 500 employees.

Apex Toys Co., Ltd. was established with BOI investment promotion to manufacture a wide range of plastic toys to
meet the increasing demand of both domestic and overseas markets. Company policy emphasizes the quality of
products by The European Union (EU).

In addition, Apex Toys Co., Ltd. which has designed, manufactured and distributed plastic toys in local market
and exported around the world with same quality. We have subcidiary companies as follows :

Apex Group Co., Ltd. - holding in subsidiary companies.
Apex Toys Co., Ltd. - manufactures plastic toys.
Apex Foods Co., Ltd. - manufactures snack foods such as candy, wafer, corn snack and chocolate.
Apex Marketing (Thai) Co., Ltd. - distributes toys and snack foods nationwide.
Apex Import & Export Co., Ltd. - imports and exports manufactured goods.
M.T.R. Group Co., Ltd. - distributes toys and snack foods to department stores and mini marts.
New Charoen Sang Ltd., Part. - wholesales and traditional markets.

Quality Manufacturing

Since its inauguration, the company has been determined to enhance the quality of manufacturing process,
products and services to achieve complete customer satisfaction as well as to upgrade its status to that of an international toy manufacturer. The company therefore adopted the ISO 9002 quality system as part of its business
operations with the object of improving its entire business process.

In 1996, Apex Toys was the first Thai toy manufacturer, who was certified ISO 9002 by BVQI.

Furthermore, we has improved continuosly on management system and certified ISO 9001:2000 by SGS

Quality Reward

Since established in 1985, our company has been concerned about product quality and company improvement
parallely. As a result, we were rewarded in different categories as follows.

- In 1996, our company received certification on international quality management of ISO 9002 standard from BVQI institute.
- In 1998, we received certification on international quality management standard from TIS institute.
- In 1999, company recevied honors from Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Commerce granted the rewards by the Prime Minister.
- In 1999, the outstanding industrial reward of quality management field
- In 2000, up to now, Apex Toys has improved continuously on the management system and quality product up to the present day. Therefore, we received certification on quality management ISO 9001:2000 standard from
the grantor of SGS intitute. It is considered to be the first designer and manufacturer of plastic toys of Thailand with
improvement and development continuously.

     - THOMAS AND FRIENDS

In addition, we have also been being exclusive distributor for TOMY (Japan) for approximately one year.
